You do what with what?

I had my first encounter with a longarm machine this afternoon. Friend Cheryl gave me a lesson on her Gammill and then set me loose on the baby quilt I finished the other day.

Now, no laughing! This is my first ever attempt using a longarm machine and it is by no means perfect in any way, shape or form. But it did turn out funky and oddly different. :)

While I was at Cheryl's yesterday she would clean out the bobbin area of the long arm with this.

Do you know what it is? I of course, started to laugh. Just goes to prove there are always multiple uses for things. LOLROF!
